The GoTechnology® Hub is the central repository of electronic information from which all of our products run.

What is GoTechnology®?

GoTechnology® is a set of tools designed for Commissioning and Completions management that includes Completions systems, Planning systems, tools for developing Commissioning procedures, Preservation and Maintenance tools. These tools communicate with Engineering Data Warehouses for importing data and with proprietary systems for exporting data when projects are complete.

What hours do your helpdesk operate?

Our helpdesk is contactable 24*7 for urgent queries, with contacts in Australia, US and UK.

Where are the applications and data hosted?

qedi utilise servers provided by Rackspace Managed Hosting, in three datacentres worldwide – Sydney, Australia; London, UK; Dallas, US.

What training resources are available?

qedi run a series of Training Courses, and mandate that all administrators of our software are trained by us. We also supply a user manual which can be accessed from within the GoTechnology® applications.

Is there any special software required for use of GoTechnology® products?

No. All GoTechnology® products are entirely web-based so there is no need to install any special software.

What sort of device can I use to view GoTechnology® products?

Any device capable of running a recent version of any standard web browser (such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari) can view GoTechnology® products.

Is it possible to discuss customisation options of GoTechnology® software?

We believe strongly in the principles and the quality of the software we provide, however we recognise that in the fast-changing and competitive environments in which our products are used in may result in additional features being requested. Does qedi provide updates to GoTechnology® software and if so, what costs are associated?

Yes, we are always working to improve our products, adding new features and improving existing ones. Anything we develop internally as a result of this is available as part of the license fee with no additional cost. It is worth noting, however, that if there is a specific customisation required for your company then we can give an estimate cost and schedule to develop these features to your specifications.

How regularly are software updates issued, and what time scale would be associated with any custom modifications?

Software updates are provided on a quarterly basis. The individual timescale for performing a custom software modification depends on both the nature of the modification and the resources available; however we would look to include it in the next available quarterly release in the cycle.
