Course Description

The 2-day GoC.om Modifications & Operations Database Course has been developed to assist Certification Engineers participating in the construction, inspection, commissioning and start-up of projects. [Delegates on this course should previously have attended the GoC Foundation Course which addresses the critical concept of “delivering the Technical Integrity that has been designed into the system through the construction, inspection and commissioning phases” and introduces the principles of GoC (Guidance on Certification) and demonstrates how its use delivers technical integrity through a series of practical examples.] The historical development of the GoC is described, and its role in delivering technical integrity is emphasised. The course details the use of the GoC.om Database by practical online use through a training project database, where delegates shall access the GoC.om Database and carry our practical data import/export tasks, assign required Inspection & Test Reports (ITR’s), input and generate Punch List items and MOC details, generation of ITR’s and reporting tasks shall also be demonstrated and practical case studies be carried out to demonstrate the application of GoC.om to modifications, inspection, commissioning & operations activities.

Having attended this course, delegates will fully understand the activities and resources required to successfully deliver the technical integrity designed into the Asset through the construction and commissioning process.


Target Audience

This course is targeted at Certification Engineers who will be responsible for the management of ITR & Handover data, recording, ITR generation, handover and reporting within the Asset.
