GoSCA® (upgraded in 2010)
GoSCA® (Safety Critical Assignment) is a system that can be used to help ensure consistent identification of safety critical equipment.
It is a legislative requirement that an asset can adequately demonstrate to the Certifying Authority which equipment is regarded as being Safety Critical.
The SCA equipment standard is a product resulting from an audit of all asset equipment by a qualified third party in order to give complete assurance of Safety Critical items.
Software and database which allows a two-stage selection of all equipment tags in order for them to be assigned a Safety Critical status, primarily through a series of automated assessment steps and secondly through manual assessment and assignment.
The GoSCA® produces accurate and auditable records of safety critical status for all equipment in each asset.
