GoC®
The Objectives of the Guidance on Certification process can be described as a system that for any given Project, Maintenance routine or modification fulfil the following:
- Identifies the limits of the system to be maintained/modified and then handed over to operation.
- Chooses the minimum Inspection and Test (I&T) requirements for the given activity.
- Identifies I&T authorities.
- Uses standard methods of measurement for both the performance of I&T activities and recording of requisite data.
- Establishes that optimum I&T requirements are satisfactorily achieved.
- Identifies the key personnel involved in the preparation and acceptance of handover documentation, in readiness for the next stage of activities.
- Defines the mechanisms for handover of the system from the design planning stage, through mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up handover and into the operational stage.
- Monitors the ongoing status of I&T activities.
- Provides Management with real time reports on progress.
The process has over 15 Years of industry application. The GoC® is aligned with GoCCMS® to give a choice of systems for greenfield or brownfield with the same level of T.I.
